Since July 2020 I’ve worked with Amsterdam (and now New Zealand) -based thought leadership agency The Humblebrag, for various forward-thinking clients including NGOs, philanthropists, artists and foundations. This has mostly involved writing and editing (interviews, features, press releases, etc.), but also comms / PR, social and creative: workshops and longer-term projects, pitching news angles and constructing social media posts for launches and campaigns. NOTE – as a result of the agency moving to NZ, I’m now working for Humblebrag co-founder Jessica Hartley, including on preparation for launching a new agency, TBC.
This was an extensive project, workshopping and executing a months-long global social campaign for the Dutch NGO Free a Girl. I produced and edited the majority of copy, but also helped with social strategy and creative (e.g. scripting campaign videos). See campaign reach here.
I workshopped news angles and a new PR focus for the variety of projects, publications and exhibitions under the Jimmy Nelson name and foundation.
